Toxian City
Roleplay note - IF you TRY mental control, please take note you will gain a temporary mental insanity. Why? cause you are attacking the mind of an insane vampire who's insanity is contagious. This is due to the fact her insanity comes from being a vampire. Her insanity has temporary and permanent conditions to others, depending on whats done. permanent is only through blood and bite. Temporary happens if your mind connects to hers in anyway; telekinesis, mind control, or whatever to connect your mind to her's.
Everyone's got a beginning right? Well, if you can remember it. Most days, Kyri doesn't even know who she is. She knows she's got voices in her head that tell her what to do. Many come in and out like guests in the house. Most people think she's just psycho, but she's more than that. She's a completely infected vampire, as is her blood and fangs. Her insanity is contagious through blood. This is not the vampire bite you wish to survive, unless you want to be the same as her. No one, not even Kyri, knows her true age. Its not because she is that old....its because insanity takes over the mind in time...and you forget what reality was. She does remember the Romans....but that could have just been an imagined moment in time. She doesn't know whats real or fantasy. There's no way to tell in an insane mind. You just cope.
She tries to tangle her demons when a moment of sanity comes. You can't survive insanity unless you have some sort of control over it. It might think its fun to throw you off a cliff....or shoot your self. Those crazy voices. Sanity only last so long before her blood takes over her mind, then she is another person.....or three people...depends on who stops on by in her brain. The battle is never ending. She can be seen some days beating herself. She knows its a losing day when she awakens covered in blood and her meal torn to pieces by a chainsaw or some object she didn't know existed or she could wield. It usually means they were yelling the annoying, "I don't want to die" phrase and 'father' stepped in to shut them up so she could feed.
Kyri came to Toxia when she heard no one would care about how she acted. There's only so many times you can get locked up by humans before 'father' gets upset then kills who he can get his hands on. Its a new world. Maybe a few tasty meals will come in handy. If not, she'll find find a way to make them.
Dark Den
Janay is a citizen of glint. She arrived long ago with her former Master. She was a slave of gor. Then was known as jahn, the name given to her when she was purchased as a gift by his father when she was young enough to be sold. As they both aged, She learned how to please and be his faithful slave girl. In time, he started to see somethings he did not agree with in his world. jahn only did as she was told and never questioned his thoughts. Her master found a way to escape the world he no longer loved. They came to this earth that she heard some of the new captured slaves talk about. Her master and she wandered until an accident landed them on the shores of glint. He seemed very protective to some of the citizens of glint. Little did anyone but him know, jahn was with child. Her master's experiment with liquids he had found and made her take broke the effect of the wine she drunk long ago that kept her barren. She gleamed with pride and happiness until she became severely sick. This new world seemed to effect her. Her master once joked that people thought she was a false tale when he went into the city because she was never seen. She eventually got better, but something was wrong with her master. She couldn't place it. She'd ask him, but he'd brush her off or push her away in his own way. It made her so sad to see him this way. It was the first time she could not make him happy at all. One day, he appeared in the place they had made a home. He was leaving. She smiled wide as she wondered where the next leg of their journey would be. He told her she was not coming. He told her she was free. Jahn looked completely confused. He bent down then removed her collar from her neck, "I no longer own you. You are free from your ownership. You are no longer a slave, or mine." Jahn was completely sad. Being his is what made her happy, and it was all she knew. She rubbed her pregnant belly then looked up at him, part of her still not comprehending what was happening. He forced himself to turn his back from her. He said in a low voice, "Stay" then left out the door. She wanted to go after him, but her training kept her from disobeying. She wanted to go where he went. She had never been without him before.
Jahn sat for couple of days on the floor, waiting for his return. She barely ate. She only ate enough that she knew would sustain her baby's life. Her mind started to see that he wasn't going to return soon. It was not within her to let the child die. She got up then went to a makeshift table. She grabbed a pen then wrote a letter to Mistress Chibbi, a free woman of Telus that had been a friend of them both. She scribbled what words she knew and that her master had taught her so the mistress would know what happened....the only problem was getting it to her. She placed the letter in safe keeping until she knew how. Everything had always been handled by her owner. She knew to do but what she's been told to do, nothing else. Jahn didn't know what to do, but she'd learn for the sake of the child in her. She smiled for the first time in days as she looked down then rubbed her belly, "It is going to be okay." Jahn stood up and went to explore this new land she barely knew called Glint and its capital city Dark Den.
At first, it was hard. She didn't know how to greet or speak with people on her own, so she avoided them at first. It seemed she didn't understand proper clothing either. It landed her in court. She later learned that was how the justice system of glint worked. Soon after, she met the farshores and became fast friends with their slave girl Violina, who they called Lina.
